Hepa Filters

MINI-PLEAT HEPA
AirCare mini-pleat HEPA Filters are manufactured in an ISO 9002 accredited facility. The filter media is made from ultra-fine glass fibre formed into a 0.38mm thick mat and pleated to allow a large amount of surface area to be incorporated within the housing. The pleats are spaced apart by hot-melt adhesive that allows air to flow through the filter with minimum resistance. A mini-pleat panel with 55 mm depth performs better than a conventional HEPA with aluminium separators of depths near 150mm. This makes them ideal for cleanrooms where operating costs are a prime consideration.

CONVENTIONAL HEPA
HEPA media is made from unltra-fine glass fibres formed into a high density paper. Continuous sheets are pleated to probide a high ratio of media area to filter face area. Corrugated separators maintain uniform spacing between pleats to allow free flow or air through the filter and provide pack strength. The edges of the separators are rolled to prevent media tearing. Standard filters are rated for 100ºC, but temperature ratings up to 400ºC can be obtained.

V-HEPA
AirCare V-HEPA Filters have a glass microfibre media, which is folded into mini-pleats separated by thermo-sealing adhesive and spacer to ensure optimum pleating geometry. Each filter is an assembly of multiple Vs in an aluminium frame. This configuration allows up to 90% more media than standard HEPA filters and this results in greater flow capacity, lower resistance and longer service life.

BIO MEPA
AirCare BIO-MEPA Filters are designed to remove airborne biological contaminants. Typical applications are in hospitals, pharmaceutical manufacturing and food processing. These filters are ideal when the ‘ASHRAE’ efficiency filters (F6-F8) are inadequate and HEPA filters are unnecessary and too restrictive. The media is made from ultra-fine glass fibre formed into a high density paper. Continuous sheets are pleated to provide a high ratio of media area to filter face area.
